Hybels

Lynne Hybels’ passions will capture your heart. In 1974 Lynne married Bill Hybels, a youth pastor. Together, they started Willow Creek Community Church in 1975. Despite intending to become a social worker, Lynne was pleased to start a church instead, convinced that God has given the local church a clear mandate to address the needs of "the whole person in the whole world." For years she has been involved with Willow Creek's ministry partnerships in under-resourced communities in Latin America and in Africa. She currently serves as Willow's Advocate for Global Engagement and is actively addressing social justice issues around the world.

Lynne is the author of Nice Girls Don't Change the World, and coauthor of Rediscovering Church and Fit to be Tied.

She and Bill now live in Barrington, IL, and have two adult children, Todd and Shauna, one son-in-law, Aaron Niequist, and one grandbaby extraordinaire, Henry.

Conde-Frazier

Elizabeth is passionate about empowering women. When pastoring a church with a great number of single mothers, she had the joy of seeing women transformed through Bible studies and retreats, many of whom have degrees and meaningful ministries today.  Over the years she has enjoyed mentoring female leaders.

Elizabeth, an ordained pastor, is currently Dean of Esperanza College of Eastern University. She has been a professor at Claremont School of Theology in the area of religious education and writes about multicultural ministry and teaching, and issues related to social justice and spirituality.  She serves on the board of Mujeres de Esperanza, a national women's ministry that through prayer and service is committed to transforming our nation through active roles in leadership.

Elizabeth and her husband, Rev. Dr. Ira Frazier, also an ordained minister and professor, have two adult children, Evangelina and Timothy.

Haglund

Kirsten Haglund follows God with a love and faith that is genuine and passionate. That faith, nurtured at Faith Covenant Church in Farmington Hills, MI, has taken her around the world raising awareness about eating disorder illnesses. Kirsten is committed to empowering women of all ages to embrace holistic health and wellness. Her openness in speaking about her own anorexia during her adolescent years adds great credibility to her message, and she openly testifies to God’s power that set her free from captivity to body image.

When Kirsten won the Miss America pageant in 2008, she felt that winning the crown was less about the competition than it was about living out God's plan. Kirsten’s year as 2008 Miss America gave her incredible opportunities to dialog about eating disorders in the entertainment media, the fashion and beauty industries, and with the many young women who look to Miss America as a role model.
